Industries

State and local government

Technology for councils, agencies and public bodies, quoted against budget cycles with the documentation and transparency public spending requires.

Auditable quoting

Itemised pricing with part numbers, warranty terms and lead times.

Budget cycle aware

Pricing held across the approval process where a supplier can hold it.

Service continuity

Deliveries and installs planned around frontline service hours.

Local government buys in public. The requirement is documented, the decision is minuted, and the invoice has to stand up to scrutiny long after the service is delivered.

We quote in a form that can go into a committee paper, supply the supporting detail when it is asked for, and deliver to the schedule the service needs rather than the one that suits us.

Where we typically help

  • Office and field devices for staff who work across multiple sites
  • Public facing terminals, displays and printing in service centres
  • Networking, wireless and security across dispersed buildings
  • Servers, storage and backup for on premises records systems
  • Volume licensing for operating systems, productivity and security tools
  • Power protection for network cabinets and server rooms

Buying transparently

Public money comes with obligations about value and evidence. We would rather tell you that a cheaper option meets the requirement than quote the specification you assumed you needed.

  • Purchase orders accepted with the reference carried through to invoicing
  • Exemption and resale certificates applied before invoicing, not after
  • Serial numbers and asset data supplied in the format your register uses
  • Delivery to a central store or split across sites with per site documentation

Tell us the deadline your approval process works to. Where a price can be held across that period, we will hold it and say so in writing.

Supporting the service, not just the purchase

A rollout that disrupts a frontline service is a bad rollout, however good the equipment. We plan installs around opening hours, libraries, waste depots and customer contact centres, and stage equipment so nothing sits unsecured on a site overnight.
